World's First 3D Commercial
Thanks to Sony, the World Cup that kicked on 11th June 2010 is the first tournament to be shot in 3D. To celebrate, Sony has also created the World's first 3D commercial. In doing they have pioneered the latest 3D production techniques to create a piece that highlights in an unprecedented way the emotions that we experience when we watch or play football. Shot by Jonathan Glazer alongside Academy Productions it stars Kaka, a true global footballing icon:

To follow up the World's first 3D commercial, we felt it would be interesting to create a piece that explored the challenges of planning, producing and shooting in 3D. This film explores the technology and techniques involved with insights from some of the key people from the brand, production house and creative agency.
