Wow Koolnits! That render of DiyaLamp is really stunning!
Perfect diffues reflection and excellent lighting!
How about doing a "still life" after this challenge?
Some grapes and the DiyaLamp?
You rock!

I am just commenting on the image wip 17(udaipur_palace)_1.jpg

really nice and beautiful modeling ...the water is clear .... the only thing is that image is not so near from the sketch you sent from the beginning.....

don't understand me wrong but as for the foreground there is a lot of stuff that I can't see in this last image ...maybe you change it a bit ... but still so beautiful and I like it

best wishes

topherus : thanks dude,,,lets c how it ends..hopefully will be good!

eydi : thanks man..ur work is good too :)

rashad : thanks for ur support, seems like m on the right way,,;)

mat : thanks man,,really appreciated..why not,i will try my best to fulfill ur wish..i will do it! ::guitar

shero : yeah shero..ur right,i changed a bit,,
as u can see the building is almost similar as shown in sketch, but the front facade had changed, coz my file is already on the way of killing itself,,and i can't really afford of having much polys,, :(
anyhow m placing trees and stuff,,it will surely addon to it,,,so i decided to avoid it,maybe, lets c,,,or else i will have to cutoff some portion of the building to make that possible
anyways that was nice of you to pass by my thread, thanks and i am glad u liked my work! :)

Naoaki : thanks man..yes i am working on the texturing part right now and will posting the images soon...:)

ohh..there is some problem in my net connection here..can't upload images,,taking hell lota time..so i will post my updates 2morrow..:(

thanks shero,,i really appreciate ur words :)

Here r those updates which i promised yesterday...mashaal(torch) and tree ;)
for the tree,,i used simple scatter modifier in modifier tab in max..picked object leaf ..and it scattered around itself..just played with parameters and this is what i got..also i scaled and copied the same gizmo's and spreaded around the tree for variation ;)
for the torch..placed a fire gizmo around the torch and played little with the parameters..but i know its not good enuf, anyways i will do something about it;)

Thanks mat..really appreciated ur comment and also for ur support!
though i am not really happy with the tree right now,,and started on date palm..cool tree..also it will go with my concept, and also the mashaal fire is bit strange and not that real,,so i will also try to make another with map and mix both randomly, lets c..anyways thanks mat..!

good work ....

just I am not sure how close they will be from the camera ..if they are so close ...I think you had to work on the roots a bit they look so fat ... and because you almost do all the things near by a realistic look I think the trees will look a cartoony among the others :-) otherwise ...it look nice :-) best wishes

em-man-u-el :yes u are right, time is running really fast,,and for the tree, its actually far from the camera so,i will keep it as it is,and for the fire i had made option like adding map, same as i did for diya(lamp) :)

shero : hi shero,,as i said the tree is far from camera,so i will keep as it is,though i had already modeled date palm,,which u will see along with the others,as it really looks good with my palaces, chk for updates, thanks for dropping:)

kingfish :yes kingfish,thanks..i will look for that, good luck to you too!

here are my latest updates,,mashaal option and texturing objects :)
