Some Comments and suggestions from Jury -

Francisco - I really enjoyed this image as well and it should certainly get kudos for creativity and detail.

John Hayes - This entry has alot of visual polish with appealing characters as well. The image does have a few too many elements in it, but could simply be cropped to resolve most of it. The submission weakness is the Accident theme is not very clear but This one wins on technical and artistic merit.

There is nothing constructive in that comment so not posted, as my words... i always prefer to post constructive comments and always asks others to do the same. Because only when you criticize then other can improve.

Thanks renju. Nothing personal with you, but i think the same;-)

I was looking your image at high res and found a lot of 'dirty jobs' that don't like.. seems like you have painted hairs, shadows in compositing.. there are some strange blurs everywhere. Seems you did a lot of (forgive me, bad) work in compositing.

Don't get me wrong, your idea is great, you did anyway a great job, but I think that there have been more images better than yours and cant't explain your second place.
Take this as a costructive critique and make attention to these details next time.
I repeat: nothing personal with you.
Congratulations for the second place

yes, i've got your same impression on the second winner...
and you don't spot evrything...
We can talk of the bathroom textures....
OR we can talk about the color chioce
OR we can talk about the modeling phase...
OR we can talk about the lighting on pretty much evrything...
OR we can talk about his partecipation to the others threads...
But aniway is a well deserved second place!

maybe the honorable mention guys will appreciate the comment's of judges too...

Don't get me wrong, i'm not complaining about not reciving a prize.
i know the weakness of my image and i know it don't even deserve the third place.

I'm just a little upset, Rogeat Yannick and Shahadat Hossain did a superb job and deserve the second place way more than renju bosco.

tommix,

Man Sorry for congratulating you a bit late, i was little bit busy, hows things going on?

Anyway let me give you my opinion about your image, to be honest your image deserved a place, I agree about one of the judges comment about your artwork, it is a little bit too much of everything, but with its technical merit,,,,,it is superb.

If you are willing to spend sometimes to improve your image, do not hesitate to chat with me and I can share some of my opinion.

I started improving my artwork and hopefully after sending the "Making", I will be able to post a new version of it.

Cheers

My choices was firstly based upon the thematic requirements. how well did the final art piece illustrate an "Accident".
Secondary considerations where composition, how unified the art was and did it flow. Was the artist able to creatively introduce an idea that also helps to spark the interest of a viewer.
Final consideration was for artistic skill and technical implementation.

Mr John, apart my image, I think there where different images better than the second one in all of the considerations. I think that a 'minimum' technical requirement is necessary to reach a second place. I can see bad mistakes and 2d CLOUTS on the illustration. That image for me hasn't that minimum requirements. Otherwise next time I will spend much more time in brainstorming and will participate with a sketch drawn in paint... ;-)
Anyway I think that this discussion could end here, seen that you have a different view than mine (and of many many other people around the web).
Two parrallel lines will never match.
Peace

hey dude,i dont complain on ur findings but one thing is i havint painted any thing on the image ,its a straight render with ao and colour correction and obiously there are a lot of mistakes, even then if it had passed then there is some thing in that image that caught attention,i am not saying its the best or its better than others or even it diserves a place.take it as a part of a game dude
