After a bunch of puppets I had to do some landscape…
It's interesting how hard it is to step out of your comfort zone and how hard it is to step back into it again.
Hope you'll like it anyways…

I did another puppet. Three more and all the images for the upcoming calendar are done:). It's still a WIP…

Image

Also I did a video demo from this image. Just a pretty simple screen cap, no audio…
But I guess it will give a small glance on how I work especially on this images.

This is chapter one, which basically shows the initial process, the blocking in and some details. Chapter two, which is coming pretty soon, will show the final detailing and tweaking.

Thanks for watching and hope you'll enjoy it.

Cheers

Hey ashras,
Thanks for the kind words. I'll have a sneak peek soon and maybe I create an account for it :)
Seems like a fun place…

Well - here's the final version of my puppet number nine and the second chapter of the painting vid.

Image

In that second chapter I simply show how I paint the final details, the background and how I tweak my colors during the entire process.

Hope you'll like it.

And finally - a big and huge thanks to all of you guys and gals for your consistent support. Mean a lot to me!!!!

Cheers

OK - guess I call this one number ten. Maybe I'll play a more with it, but for now - I'll keep it as it is. Any suggestion from you awesome guys and gals? :)

Cheers

@ ashras99 - thanks so much for the kind words!!!

@ eydi - Thank you

@ subrat - Thanks, mate

Ok - here we go with an update. I was commissioned to do two new cut scenes for the upcoming Anno Online trailer. The images or better the render technique are far away from my typical comfort zone. Its was a great time and a huge learning curve.
The trailer is now on air and I'll be able to post the artwork. And there is no better place to post in on my SB here :) You could see the trailer here: http://de.anno-online.com/

Hope you'll like it.

Sorry again for the lack of updates. Its still busy here and I'm working on lot of commissioned stuff at the moment.
But…
Got permission to post some of my recent stuff. So, well, here we go…

This was a book cover I made for Blood brother Publishing. The book is called "The Breed" and its written by Guy Kessler.

Image

On top of that, I did some creature concept for an upcoming book - also produced by the nice guys from Blood Brother Publishing. Right now I'm not able to talk a lot about the project, but expect some more news soon.

Image

Besides all my other projects and daily stuff, I'm working together with the awesome guys from Lunar Engima on a pretty sweet game project. To be honest - the game sounds pretty interesting and absolutely promising.

If you'd like to now more - check out their Blog
For now - some artworks I did during the last weeks or so. There's is still more, but have to wait until I get permission to post.

Hope you'll enjoy watching it. And I hope to find some time for some new puppets soon. Two are still missing - except we could change a year to 10 month :)

Best
