Welcome on CGArena, everything is possible in maya, max or XSI which done by Mr. Hypnotik, the zbrush provide you sculpt the highly detailed models in lesser time possible. Which is also possible in any 3d package but takes time and make the mesh heavy. Hope i am right hypnotik? :P

Stunning female you have there. Maybe the buttocks are a bit big for that posture, but I am not complaining, lol

Seriously now, brilliant work

Texturing of female is final? Because neeed work on the tatoo..that is too faded and also need work on nipples and texture around that. You will find various real life references in the References section of this forum...but actually you need references for this? :)

After all the trouble I am having modelling my knight, I think I will try and learn zbrush. After I get the grips on lightwave9, that is...

Hey there hynotik! Your work is looking stunning :D

I really like how you have switched between software, making great use of each one. The muscle definition (painted with zBrush i believe..?) is spot on, as are your skin textures.

The man's horns are cool and 'texture-correction.jpg' image displays him well. The lady too further proves your skilled ability to model (human) characters! I think the realism is enhanced by the way you model small details, for example the backs of the elbows in 'woman+texture-3.jpg' and the neck in 'woman-maya-1.jpg' are a couple of features I noticed :D

Some suggestions - I agree with ashras99 about the tattoo appearing faded, I think it needs sharpening. Also, there is something not quite right with the lady's belly. Looking at 'woman+texture-2.jpg' she has two dents / inward holes between her breasts and her groin. The lower one where the belly button is should not be so big, I think maybe reduce the size and / or push the belly button outwards a bit. I hope this makes sense, it just looks a little odd to me.

But that is all, the whole thing looks great and I cannot wait to see the figures together in the same render!!

Also, about the concept / composition.. allow me to repeat juanmanuel's words as I also agree with them - "imitation is the sincerest form of flattery". I think there is nothing wrong with having two similar works of art as long as neither one infringes upon the other. Which in this case they clearly do not.

Finally, all that is left is for me to wish you the best of luck and happy creating!
Dave
