Hi people,
first thing which came to my mind when i saw the challenge topic "Punishment" was Sisyphus - one of greek mythology infamous figures. Poor guy was punished by Zeus to roll uphill a heavy rock that always falls down once he reaches the top. Since then it became a symbol of hopeless struggle and punishment.
I will try to show human anatomy and dynamics in the image.
Below you can see some rough sketches but i did not decide on the exact pose yet, maybe you all can help me to choose.

nice idea buddy, I didn't know about the Sisyphus, I like the 2nd pose in the 1st row, and 1st pose in 2nd row.

Welcome and today is the last day for entering in the challenge. After this registrations in the challenge is not allowed.
2nd pose showing a more weight and pressure on the body. That looks good.

sure, no problem in these test, infact these are good. But start soon because not much time. Btw, you can start modeling the character and environment and make a pose in the end.

I like the clipboard2 one best. I think if you move the camera in a bit closer so you can get a good look at his face while he is struggling with the rock, it will make for a strong piece.

all the poses r good, he looks struggling in clipboard 1, and clipboard 4. clipboard 4 looks most realistic to me if he has to go a long way before peak of the hill/hell.

started the base mesh of the character, trying to get heroic proportions going
will keep it very loose, just building all parts and then sculpt everything else
