the textures rock!!! the third image looks great since it is the brighest compared to the others and thus we are able to see the ingredients in the image clearly as well as feel the night life. Are you planning to bring in a sort of scared expression on the face of the nut so that it looks like it's having this nightmare?
Your scene looks great. kep it up

hello friend i have a sugestion that my be healp you.
try to choose a different angle of camera like puting the came near the
squirrel and try to put a fullmoon like vampires think , and put some ray light i mean volumetric lights , and ont put too many lights on the background , instead put a blue like tipe light and exclude all the object and include the squirrel an the nut , belie me this will be have more impact.
The textures looks good but dont put the cool squirrel texture to the complety dark add a light like moon and exclude the other things
best regards too my friend..RASHA

even though it is a test but i like it much... though i can see a bit of sheering around the neck and eyes..and you could give another color than Grey to the teeth.

hmmm... As I am from middle of Europe I Feel confused when I see oak on the desert, but maybe it's only me;) maybe for you it's natural out there:) Glass looks artificial because it's growing in shape of square and it's so green (on the desert:)
You made progress, squirrel looks much better. You can finish with good scene but you need to work on details to make background look natural.

check how looks the tail. your squirrel has to fat/big tail:)

While me and Rasha are not always agree, I have to admit that he gave you some good advices, busted. I'm wondering why you changed from moonlight to this yellow background (looks like in the morning).
Maybe change composition a little? maybe put squirrel on the branch, like it's climbing to catch the nut and it's almost there. maybe this way you'll show the story better with better composition and proportions attacker/prey.
it's just suggestion.
