Ok , now i have my idea .

I'll be constructing a small Ski Resort :) it won't be something huge ...

no sketches available but i'll be posting in progress renderings ( i don't usually sketch my ideas )

I'm working on my skiing objects now, here's boards sample + textured one.

Looking good so far. I think it's a requirement to post a concept sketch.

A sketch would be good. A quick and dirty scribble on a napkin would do, I think it is more to see what you are going after, than to submit the sketch to the image gallery.

I am no expert on skis, so I really wouldn't know how to critique them. But they look like skis, so I suppose, you are doing fine.

Best of luck in the challenge

If you post a just rough layout/sketch that shows your idea will be fine. Because if you model and post then how can anyone suggest you anything when you already spend your time in creating that. Hope you understand the point.

I did an awfully horrid sketch for my first challenge, and some people even found it funny! Anyway, as Ashish says, the sketch is to help people understand the idea, not to judge your drawing prowess

Hey thenad, welcome to the challenge btw, I like your concept! ;) If you have any questions on anything about ski stations, or need references, etc. Don't hesitate to ask, I'll be glad to help! The houses are starting out nicely. Are those like chalets on the side of the runs? And I was wondering, what kind of style are you going for? More european ski center, or western, or what? Anyway, keep us updated!

Hey warpv,

thnx for the message, actually i don't have a specific style, as i'm snowboarder ;) i'm going for our countries style.

I may need some references for making the teleski machine or any of the transportation machines please.

And if you have any blueprint for the full snowboard design with boots. :)

thnx for the help
