Modeling is good, but you need to work with textures. It would be better if you will do a little bit lighter renders, because it's difficult to see some parts.
Good luck.
Sorry for my bad english.

Hey Cecil,

The only textured part is the roof, the SideWalk and the street + the Glass .
The house is not textured yet, still working on it.

Thnx for the message

Hey thenad! That's cool, I didn't know they had ski stations in Lebannon?! As for the snowboard, here are some links:

http://www.snowboard.no/oss/bilder/Stov ... 0black.gif

And for the chairlifts:
http://www.chairlift.org/
It has loads of pictures of all types of ski lift you could possibly want!

As for your last update, it's looking good, but I don't think that's a very realistic way for the snow to be on the roof...I don't think it would accumulate like that... You can find some reference pictures on this and figure out the right way that it accumulates on a rooftop.

Do keep us updated!

I like the idea. but with such a wide shot how are you going to show the detail of the ski/snowboarders? It seems that the mountain face is going to be your subject and that is good but the detail that you have in your models is what really interests me.

Hey warpv,

Thnx for the references , and as for the roofs, i'm working on it to look better ;)

Hey Gomas,

My shot will be showing the houses near the Ski piste + the chairlifts, and it will be snowing so no skiers will be available, and snow boards will be put outside the Chalet.

Thnx guys for the comments

There's won't be any fire in the scene.

I designed the lights from the inside to give this shape outside of the bulb.

on your images snow is very discipline and dont fall here and there. Add irregulaties and hang the ice here and there to make it relalistic and beleivable.

Looking good. Just an observation, the sidewalks and the mmm islands in the street usually have a border, they rarely are just one material, it is usually a strip to protect them. That, and the yellow stripes look too near the middle island, I don't think a car would fit between the island and the strips.
My 3D mantra: There is no such thing as saving too often, too much RAM, too much detail, or a renderer that is too fast...
