Challange : Joy Chakraborty : India

Postby Joy Chakraborty » 24 Nov 2006, 14:15

Hello everybody. I am in, but still thinking with the concept. Actually, most of the India never experienced snow other than Himalayas area. So, in our sense Winter means "needs of warmth", "sweater", "cricket", "picnic" and "enjoying sweet sun ray". I am trying to amalgamated the above ideas and honestly saying I don't know how much I can do, but hope for better.

Wishing for a good contest and better learning from each other for everybody.

Once again welcome Joy. This time give sometime for texturing and lighting too. So we get a rocking entry. Best of luck.

Hello everybody. Here is my concept in word and as soon as possible I submit it with sketch :

Previously I said that We the most of the Indians or our part of Bengal, have not experienced snow. So, I have to do it without snow. It will be early foggy morning at native bengal. Where the people take warmth from fire before the days start. There will be also some date-palm trees, from which(from its stem) we get juices at the time of winter. So, it is the time to learn more modelling, textureing and lighting.

Nice idea, I agree. We don't have snowfall here, except in the mountains. OK, we have some mountains nearby, with snow most of the years on its peak, but not in the streets, etc.

I am quite eager in seeing an Indian winter. It will be very enlightening.

to be honest with u i think a winter theme without an element of snow, would be lost. even I can relate to ur predecament- I mean sub saharan africa hasn't seen snow since it was born but even then we have tha discovery channel.

great concept! i really appreciate how well you have adapted a topic like winter to your own geographical location. kudos on the concept dude.

as warpv said, it's definitely going to be a lot of work. Although from the last challenge, where you created so much stuff in such little time; nothing's impossible to you, i'm sure.

all the best
