Geostik:Thanks point noted. i have gotten some refrence images and am now working on the roof :making it of branches.

Drave:
i created a pyramid and tessellated it so i guess thats why it looks odd. I will try to redo it now

the firs model is nice, but too many branches are randomly placed. some one should not stick in place but only some. Are u using GI in the scene, and what renderer are u using ?!. Gi usually greatly improves hair and dense meshes such as your roof.
old school way..........best way

Thanks 4 all ur comments.
I have been doing the "crash program" in zbrush that i talked about so i havent really edited the scene.

I Will tweak the roof of the right hut and correct that of the left hut. i will post my first attempt on modelling the heads of the guards in zbrush today
