Looks very realistic! Would be cool to see reflections of fire on that armour!
Looking forward to it!
Good luck!

Hi,
Drave: I am showing the guard(knight) in the concept sketch on the right...The reference image of the knight is just for people to see, what I am trying to achieve (that has nothing to do with the sketch)...The guard(knight) is going to be on the right part of the final render...It will be in similar position as shown on the concept sketch, but it will be probably facing different direction.

If you have more questions please feel free to ask...I hope I answered your point. :D

here is the knight in some reasonable pose...I worked on this for quite a while, but this is my first rig...So I hope it turned pretty good :D :D

By the way...does anybody know any good plugin for 3ds max that can create realistic fire???

Thank you

Hi dijgoho very nice texturing you got there... I loved especially the one on the logs. What software are you using for the texturing part?
Your modeling is pretty good to but there are some details you may want to work on. The thumbs of the knight are in a odd position, they should go a little closer to the wrist and maybe a little less straight ( probably there´s no big deal if you leave them like that for now because you won´t notice that on this image, but it would be good if you fix that details in case you want to use your model later for another image)

Also I feel that the knight´s knees are a bit higher than they should. But I think that you could lower then easily and without much trouble just by pulling some polys down.

Can´t wait to see your final image and your Joan model.

Good luck!!

Hi Aztan,

Thank you for your comment...
I know about the thumbs...I found the same problem as you did with them, I had some problem with placing the thumb and the "overlay plate" so this was only the good available position, plus I have pushed the thumb little bit by bones.
I use photoshop mainly for texturing but this time I also used deep paint 3d which has a fully interactivity with photoshop and can read/write .psd files without any problems...It was used for final detailing including the scratches on the model because it has a huge variety of brushes.
You are probably right about the knees, I am going to fix that right away :D

Thanks again...The final compositing of the scene is coming soon
I just have to model the ground...Lastly find some plugin for 3ds max that can create realistic fire...ANY IDEA???

Hi dijgoho!

I know this is not a big help but... I made my avatar (the flames) with the environment effects of Max... And if you tweak them enough they might do a good job...
Or else... plugins like pyrocluster and the likes..but they're expensive!!!

Good luck and be well

pose is looking good for the night, but his halberd is looking blunt u should sharpen it by rubbing it on stone.
