nice modeling but i think that the man is looking way up his neck should be bent down a bit so he will look at the dog more naturally

Hi, I like the work that you made with sea, I think maybe more Red in your lights or rays to increase the drama in imho.

are those proportions final? man is small.. but maybe in final resolution he will look better.
What do you think about adding some vector blur to the dog?

budcai... i was thinking of keeping these propotions... the man is supposed to be extremelly smaller than both the dog and pyramid and i relation to the rest of the scene...
if you think otherwise, i could make him larger but i am almost certain that the image will lose its sence of scale if i do it...
I was thinking of applying some motion blur to the dog too... will make it (along with some other changes) and post an update...
Thanks very much for the comments...
What do others think of the size of the man in the scene? Please consider that it will be rendered out in at least 1280X1024 and 300dpi as a final resolution...

I understand that you want to keep this relation between the dog and a man. So maybe instead of scaling you could try some lighting or compositing tricks to underline the man. he's not clearle readable as a main character in the scene.

agree with budcai, your man is not visible. In place of increasing the scale, use lighting tricks to highlight. Even you also scale a bit.

The sea is looking good!
What I would like to suggest, is to make some effect in the water showing that the dog is coming out of it. I don't think that motion blur would work on itself, you need drops and ripples and particle effects. As it is, it seems that Skylla is just standing on shallow waters. Also make her look wetter, add some shininess to your shader, or even better, some wet fur

hi grafos... thanks for the suggestion... i was thinking of using blenders fluids (since i dont have access to another fluid system at home) to make the water... will try it and see if that works...
