I received the following answer from npower...

Code: Select all
If he is using Vray he will have to turn off two sided faces to render
correctly. Vray does not like two sided faces.

The Convert to Mesh option is diabled in the demo. In order to flip patches
you muist convet to editable NURBS.

This is the answer from Npower.

Hello CGArean Artist and Designers,

I want to apologize for the delay on getting back with you all to help with some problems with Power NURBS. We have a new baby and I have been away attending to my family.

During our rush to produce an extended trial version for the CGArena contest our developers inadvertently forgot to remove the missing polygon on render security feature. Unfortunately, due to family issues I was not available to test the build before its release.

We have posted a new tested Demo R270 which removes the missing polygon on rendering security feature. It can be downloaded directly here.

Max 7-8 install

Many of you have voiced your concern about the 640x480 rendering size restrictions in relation to the contest final rendering size rules. Please do not concern yourself with this as the top three winners will be awarded full working versions of our products so that they can render full size images in accordance with the contest image size rules.

Good luck…….. and I will be answering each of your questions on the contest forum.
