Hi there, nice pic!
Just make sure it does not compete with the other idea for the challenge that involves a scene in venice with the canal.

It will be nice to see how two very similar settings are handled by different people.

Good luck in the challenge!

I know, but I thought it best to tell, in order to avoid any possible problem later on.

In my opinion, that themes look a little bit alike is good, because there is more feedback between them, and it is always nice to look how different people approach a similar theme and get completely different result.

Anyway, the reference picture is beautiful! It is a very good source of inspiration!

Hey sunshinebetter! Haha, now I'll have even more of an incentive to make my canal very beautiful!! :P Lol! No but really, I don't mind that your concept looks a lot like mine. And like juanmanuel said, it's always cool to see how two people tackle something similar... I really loved your entry last challenge, and will follow intently your progress in this one! Good luck! :)

Love is in the air... everywhere you look around... lalalala....

It is a lovely scene no doubt about that, but bustedgame is right. It just needs one symbolic elemet to drive home the idea. Like the ring on the table on the other thread, the champagne glasses in the other...

As it is, it is a poweful image. With that something else, it becomes irresistible

for love not necessary only humans. Animals and non living things are also there... just run the horses of your mind and you will find some great concepts around you.

I agress with ashras99

For example: if it is a night scene, the lamp post could project on the wall the shadow of a couple kissing.

Or showing a red rose bouquet in the immediate foreground, as if somebody was holding it...

I really like the night idea with the couple kissing in a shadow projected on a wall, could be really cool! I think there's still a way to bring a theme of love in your idea, you just have to find one, a few have already been said here. It's up to you to decide what you do, let us know!
