Thanks so far for the feedback guys. After a good night's rest and looking at the image with fresh eyes, I have to agree, that bottle does look a bit big. I will scale it and the cork down slightly.
warpv: Yeah, the corners of the room, I think it's because I have my GI set low, that's why it doesn't get defined properly. Once I'm completely finished with all the modelling and texturing I will add some more (a lot more) photons and see what the results are.
I am still working on the chair and it's texturing. As for the plates, yeah I see what you mean. I'll add some cutlery, forks, spoons etc. and see if that will help it stay down and not float so much.
the_joker: Adding more photons should also help lighten the scene a bit. I might even add an exposure control and fine tune that too.
The SSS on the candles are still bouncing down the candle too far. I have been studying a lot of lit candles and the top are normally slightly almost white, then about a cm or two bright red and then fading off to normal candle wax colour for another cm or so. But it also depends on the quality of the wax and the dye used in it. Will have to tweak that SSS material.
Thanks for the feedback so far guys. Much appreciated.
