Well Im trying to join the competition ,which I have definately been following for the past week. Im also trying to keep up with it and trying to make my own concept and character...The only thing is that mione isnt really wacky its more realistic. I have been wanting to do it for a while but didnt have a real reason until I saw this contest and decided to join..Hopefully you guys will like it..Even though I dont think I will be able to finish..Its an armored wyvern which is a dragon without the front legs/arms..

Hey Ashras ..Its been a while since Ive posted anything..good seeing there is way more people coming into cgarena and the art is definately improving ,the stuff in the gallery is amazing.. And yeah I know the deadline is very near so even if I send a wip as a final you will see something..nice talking to you again..

this is pretty much what Im going to do given that there isnt much time to make a background and other things.. Im just doing a close up and maybe exagerating the textures a bit for more depth..Im just not that happy with the wings...Also need to learn how to do the stereoscopic (however you say it,Im not sure) image.

Hey thanx....I really appretiate it ..Ohh yeah and the teeth are out mainly because of the lack of time to make gums and details ,unfortunately I think its weird too..thanx for the comment..

Man.. you have made such a great piece in such less time,that i will be more then happy to oversee that teeth fault if i were the judge.

this is the last image with color correction ,balance and final texturing..I had to do a lot of photoshop post work for the textures to look right...I already have the stereoscopic image but for some reason it wont save with the red and blue it only divides both pictures..I wish I knew how to do it so you guys could see it...

There we go...I just did a screen capture and this is the stereoscopic image I ended up getting..It actually works ..I got some of my daughters red/blue glasses from a barbie movie and it actually does look 3d..Its crazy.. If you guys have those type of glasses try to look at his mouth and nose...

looks very nice, the jaw is indeed in 3d, but I'd rather you make the entire face stick out of the screen, also post the side by side version so I can enjoy the full color 3d. That said, the zbrushing is amazing.

HEy thanx for the comments....and yeah you are right about the whole head popping out ,the problem was that the helmet was so close to the camera that it automatically became the focused point in the stereoscopic image maker and I already sent it in as a final image...I wish I shouldnt of done that because I forgot to do a couple of things. Like what you mention and making a dark centering frame around the image..Too bad for me...But again thanyou for the comment and for letting me know about the head popping out...Here Im posting the side by side image..I hope this is what you meant..Im very new to the stereoscopic imagery..I personally find it really amazing..

I'll also post this if by any chance this is what you meant..I just don't have any glasses for this type of image so I won't know if it looks right..Hopefully it does..you be the judge..
