It depends on the graphic card and latest driver of the graphic cards. If both the things are updated then Maya also handle Fur very well.

Not sure it was the graphics card, because it crashed during rendering. I think it was Mental Ray that run out of memory... and I have 2GB!

required work on the fog light coming from grave... those are very sharp and need to be smooth and why so many seperate lights. I think one big with some noise and smoth edges will work.

i just used another monitor and relaized the image is a bit dark.i brightened it up a little bit. so heres the real FINAL render. Good luck everyone

Certainly has a haunted look to it. It is always stimulating how a theme can be tacled in so many creative and breathtaking ways. Best of luck in the voting!
