yes, make this a speed challenge!
My 3D mantra: There is no such thing as saving too often, too much RAM, too much detail, or a renderer that is too fast...

speed challenge it is then

Postby chaitanyak » 01 Sep 2006, 06:36

ok, speed challenge it is. heres my concept sketch. will follow up with cg mockup soon.

am going with the only thing in horor movies that really truely spooks me: the eerie graveyard. white marble tombstones, silver moonlight filtering through ghostly mist, and maybe a shadowy figure in the entrance of a creepy crypt.

blocking out

Postby chaitanyak » 02 Sep 2006, 13:05

Started blocking out the main elements. The tree is just a stand-in max-foliage tree. will model my own twisted ol scary-tree.
The four main modelling elements are the two graves and two crypts. have to put in some good work on them, if i have the time i'll do a few more. Will do an assortment of crosses and populate the rest of the landscape. and will add more plants and stuff.
May change the camera angle later.

have the whole weekend to work on this.
