Wow! I meant that it would be fun to create this character and play with this 3d stereo thing... It's a great responsibility though... I'll see what i can come up with!

Here's my concept. Some space alien monster funny guy with a fancy gun directed toward camera, ill think of other props anc colours maybe later during modelling and so on. Frankly i was inspired by the works of Patrick Beaulieu. Hope you like it.

There are different colours i've created very simply using Hue/Saturation... Which one is best in your opinion?

Yes, that's certainly wacky enough!! I personally like the orange one the best, it feels warmer and more goofy as a result. The character makes me think of a young space-bully about to zap some sci-fi nerds at a convention!!! :P

Thank for the reply - so far im focusing on modelling, but as soon as it comes to texturing i will take all comments into consideration:) so comment and discuss - coz we all learn from each other!

I forgot to add that i want this cosmic guy to have some kind of jello translucent skin, maybe i'll take advantage of sss, but nothing sure yet, so stay put:)

U may think I'm in rush, and U bet I am. I have lots of my own stuff and work to do, animated-short coming out soon - so there's no time for lazyness these days:P

making the eye - eye is just a sphere. i grabbed the vertices shown in red, and pushed them into the eye. Pupil area and iris have just a different mat ID assigned. Cornea is a tip of the sphere with slice applied to cut off the rest of the sphere. It's a technique i learned from Adam Baroody's tutorial.
