Create new solid layer (Layer > New > Solid), color doesn't matter and Apply the Set Channels effect (Effect > Channel > Set Channels) on the solid layer. Select Ripple.jpg as a Source Layer 1 in the effects window.. Close the Composition.


Create a new composition (640 x 480) and set the duration to two seconds again. Name the composition Matrix and press OK. Import Grid.mov which is created in Particle Illusion and rendered with alpha channel (you can also create in AE through Particle Playground) and drag to the composition. Below grid.mov drag the ripple composition and hide the visibility of ripple composition.


Select Grid.mov and apply the Card Dance Effect (Effect > Simulation > Card Dance) and change the following settings... Animate the camera position according to your creativity.
