Third - This is the inner shirt, made with the wool. I just made the basic shape and give textures. For wool details I used the masking option in the tools palette.
Fourth - Finally the Zbrush texturing options stunned me. My speed has increased 40 – 50% with the Zbrush texturing tools. For most parts I used the plane 3d tools to texture because it gave me a lot of control in adjust the texture on my model. With the RGB set to 100, and Zadd set to 0, this is how I used to texture almost most of the parts. Here is the textured version of the face.
Fifth - Now I added the eyes and apply the quad shader for the skin. First I copied the shader from the colorize1 material and then pasted in the 1st shader slot of Zbrush, which allows me to define a color for the shader. Then for the next shader in the quards material the most important thing is to adjust the diffuse curve as they played a vital role in giving a feel of slight self illumination. Infact I have used a same shader for almost everything with the little bit of tweaking.
Six - I added the coat, hat and the inner shirt. Coat and the hat have a same material as said earlier with some minor changes. Please check the material settings at the end of this making.Face, hat, eyes, coat are on separate layer with marker assigned to it, so that after dropping the model on the canvas I can comeback and have access to it with the markers. Marker’s and layer’s are extremely useful in Zbrush and gives you lot of control in tweaking.
