If the image of the sketch does not allow us to see the model, we can remove or replace it by another one in a grey range.
Now we can begin to model the room and the objects. By means of cubes we make the walls and partitions. We create the space for the window and we add a plane for the ground and another one for the ceiling.
To make the mouldings of the ceiling, the chimney and the walls we use Curve – Draw linear. We draw the profile of the mouldings and we make a Curve to Mesh to convert it into a polygonal object and a Extrusion Along Axis of the length, we are interested in the correct axis. In the right side of wall, we make a Boolean Difference with a cube in order to make the space for the chimney.
We repeat the same technique for the frame of the window. We add a cube that we scale and we also applied a Boolean Difference with small cubes, to create the body of the window. We placed a plane at the back that will be the glass.
We obtain the shelf that we will place upon the chimney by scaling a cube in x, y and z. For the furniture on the right, we also start from a cube. We make the skirting board and the upper part of furniture in the same way that we have made the mouldings. We can use the ones already done, duplicating and modifying them.
We have decided to replace the armchairs by tables, simpler to make. In order to do the legs we also use Curve Draw linear, and we applied a Revolution Around Axis (y). For the table in the middle, the board is a cylinder scaled in the axis (Y) and the board of the one on the left is a cube also scaled in (Y).
With this technique of Revolution Around Axis we also create the vases, the jar, the lamp and the legs of the footrest.
