The camera that I used was a VRay Physical Camera with a little of distortion; a slight correction of the vertical ones.
The VRay configuration in this scene is quite simple. I have applied the things explained in the seminar modifying only some parameters that simply have an influence in the finishing of the Anti-aliasing. I have never been in favor of complicated settings for VRay since in most of the times I have only obtained an unnecessary slowing down of the render engine.

Post-production
In the process of postproduction, which I consider the most important one, our image may gain fifty per cent of its appeal. The postproduction, as well as a good framing of the scene and a good composition, is the one that frequently determines when we are in front of a good photograph.
For the postproduction of this image, I got two different Ambien Occlusion as "render elements" using two VRay Extra Tex with two VRay Dirt also different. It´s worth mentioning that I also used ZDepth to create a little lack of focus.
The first one is normal dirt VRay with a 10 cm. radius and the second one is also a VRay with a dirt map and 15 cm. radius.

After having done this, I apply a mask on these two Ambien Oclusion channels over which I paint in Photoshop in order to put and remove dirt in the more suitable places from my point of view. And finally I carry out the typical adjustments: Color Balance, Levels, Brightness and Contrast, Curves, Selective Corrections, Focusing Effects and Distortion.
Hope you all have enjoyed this “Making Of”.
I´d like again to thank Javi Martínez, the whole organization and all the Light Render on tour collaborators for the effort they are constantly carrying out to make things in our job a little easier.
