Introduction - Hi everybody! My name is Achal Srivastava and I'm from India. First I like to thanks CGArena for the opportunity to publish this making on your website.  I am going to show you how I created my image “Goddess”. She is my experimental model. I used 3ds Max 2008, Vray SP2 and Photoshop CS2.

Motivation - I have seen this type of image few months back in a magazine and then I decide to create a girl with Indian classical dancing style.

Modeling - At first I only had to look for references of beautiful girls of Indian classical dancers and choose the interesting one. Once the idea was clear then I start with basic blocking for naked body of girl in T-Pose.



For posing I add biped and then skin it… when skinning was finished then I give it a nice pose.

For detailing I export selected mesh to (.obj) format and again import this in 3ds Max and start detailing. I modeled face separately from body mesh and attached it with body after finishing. I don’t have good configuration PC so I decided to model the  hairs of the Goddess in place of using Hair and Fur plug-in.
