Making of Classic Living Room by Roger Vilà Castañé, Spain

Also creating this material, off all the lights in the scene, off the Indirect illumination (GI) and the environment.

At color mapping choose the type Linear multiply with gamma 2.2 and in Environment… the ambient color is white.

Besides that if you used a physical camera, you need turn off the exposure, vignetting and after that you can do rendering.

With this, achieve the AO pass, in my case; I did three AO passes , full scene, one for candles and other for frame pictures. In post we can do anything with Adobe Photoshop with selecting and separating layers via copy.

Post Production

In final post production I adjust the brightness, contrast, color balance ...of normal render. Duplicate the image and increase brightness, contrast and desaturate. I set that layer as “Linear Dodge” mode at 10%.

I did the glow effect on the fire and the windows, I added the Ambient Occlusion pass (AO) and adjust the opacity up to 35% and then customize the opacity of objects less highlighted by separating the layers. And finally create the image chromatic aberration and vignetting.

Renders performed prior to post production process:

It only remains to thank everyone who has been helping me and correcting this creation and especially my friend Alejandro Ruano (DraKeXXI), who helped me during the creation of this image.
