Howdy! This is Fábio M. Silva, a CGI artist from Portugal. At the moment I've finished the school and I am working on finalizing my demo reel and start applying in companies for job.
I decide to make a very realistic human model than others that I've done in the past for my demo reel. And so here she is! Klara Medkova. I picked her because she's a beautiful Czech supermodel and because there are so many references available, makes the modeling little easy. I created this image using 3ds max and Photoshop.
Above is the picture of Klara Medkova with makeup. I'll be making the un-makeup version of her with a different hairstyle.
I started her model from scratch with the best topology I could do, that would allow me to animate her later on, and re-use her mesh for future models. Also I like to make sure that I model everything on quads. Klara's final model is 100% quads.
The ears are one of the most complex parts of the human body. I personally don't find the modeling of ears was difficult. Attaching the ears to the head and making sure everything is all quads, and that the mesh isn't wasting any unneeded geometry is the hard part.
For the modeling of the eyes, not much to say here because all of you already read so many tutorials online on how to create the beautiful eyes.
