Modeling the Lemon

Create a sphere and choose the following settings...


Collapse the sphere and apply a meshmooth modifier. Select the edges and increase the crease and weight values and play with the shape.




Modeling the Salt Shaker


First, we do the shapes of the saltshaker, with (splines), one for each thing.

Because, they have different material.

1 - the cap of the Salt Shaker
2 - another for the crystal
3 - And finally for the salt.

We can take as reference the one that this drawn. Trace the shapes but we should not close them so when we apply a modifier this is going to weld them in its open extremes.



Once they finished the silhouettes, we apply the modifier for each silhouette, with the same values of the window.


Select the Salt Shaker and convert into editable mesh. Select the polygons from where you want to sprinkle the salt and negative extrude the polygons around -1 mm.



Bevel the selected polygons with -1 mm and then again extrude the polygons with -3 mm and then delete the polygons.
