I've rendered an ambient occlusion pass, with a fractal texture connected to it in the dark attribute, to use it as dirt, also z-depth pass has been render. Compositing - I always like to go over the images with an external tonemapper, for this case I've used Photomatix, it has Reinhard integrated on it, frequently used in Vray, this allow me to have a better control over the brights, shadows and colours. ![]() Finally, I've pass the images through After Effects, where I have composed the ambient occlusion layer, I've added some color correction, blur and lens flare.
