Hi all. I’m Ali Jalali and in this article we are going to have a look at the making of my 3d work "DeadPool". I’m not a big fan of comic strips but some of the characters have my favorite styles so I decided to try making one of them called DeadPool.
First of all I searched the internet to gain characteristic and main ideas about him. There are different styles and clothes illustrated for him so I made a collection of them and tried to combine them according to my taste. Here are some of the resource images:

I started the modeling from head and decided not to use any of my base models I used for sculpting. I usually start from the eyes using a plan and extruding the edges around a sphere. This is a tiny step by step for my head modeling:

As you can see the mouth is hidden in this character but I tried my hard to follow the standard topology. The circular edges around the eyes and mouth helps the animator morph the face closer to the face muscle structure in production cases:
