Texturing: For the texturing of the scene I used a large number of procedural shaders where possible, because thinking of unwrap and hand paint each element would have been too much time consuming (and I become crazy :) )
The Spaceship
For the texturing of the spaceship I started from a texture downloaded from the internet, retouched in Photoshop to add more details.
After I added some scratches on the surface of the spaceship, starting from a rusty texture.
The Aliens
The base geometry of the alien as been modeled in Cinema 4d starting from a cylinder. The UV map has been created in Cinema 4d too. Later I exported the base geometry and the UV map as .obj and imported in Mudbox, where I sculpted the details for the skin.
