Along the way I decided to switch the palette of the picture by adding some cold colors in shadows and warm colors in brighter areas. I think it looks good and delivers art expressiveness to the work. Afterwards, I placed zombies, dead bodies and pools of blood at the streets (which was OK with the style of the picture). I found a few photos of characters exactly for my work.
I grouped the objects and started editing them. One of the most important things here is to make the character look natural in the environment. To achieve that I used transparent layers. Lights, shadows and overall gamma of the character should not fall out of the picture's tone. You can follow the way I was doing that.
