This image is created for the cover illustration of Exotique 6 Special Edition using Photoshop and Painter and thanks to CGArena for giving me the opportunity to share the tips and tricks on how to do a face painting. Hope my friends/renders will benefitted from this explanation. Usually before doing the painting I draw with the pencil sketch to bring out the shape, draws up by the pencil line manuscript's way the modeling, then again draws skin's bottom color.
Then, in the order to face the dark side of the painted layer by layer, in the process of painting the dark side of the saturation will slowly decrease. This way, skin’s stereoscopic look will gradually come out.
This works because we want to draw more refined level of style, so to obliterate the face of the draft line, like this next picture will let us handle the details better.
