Do you want to Play with me

Ready to Dance!

The face is now ok; I’ve finished the texture, and found the right hair cut. I’ll not paint one by one the hair, but blocks by blocks, and choose one part to detail as best as I can, here it will be the more lightened area, for single hair I’ll use a basic round edge set dynamic shape with hardness 100%, I’ll blur the extremities with the blur tool.

The ball dress is quite right here, to paint this kind of thing just sketch some random lines before, then on another layer paint the folds (lace). I must say it was the most difficult part of the painting, so I hardly recommend sketching the folds :)

The pattern shirt is finished too, I’ve used several layers to complete it, and one for the base another for the light/shadow, and finally one set on soft light.

The Lethal Game Cards

Well, for the card game, I’ve just sketched the shapes and done figures on another file. It was  easier for me to create the right style like this and make this game more “realistic”. I didn’t detail too much the cards they look more like quick’s than final images, because they‘ll be very small on the final composition. Once I’ve done and imported them in the painting, I only hade to add some shadows and moving effects, I also blurred some parts of the cards with the blur tool (never the filter, that’s bad ;))
