When all the element was done for the character, but first do some test render with everything together to see how each element react in the scene all together and do some tweaks on the lighting.
Character
For the character I model it with edit poly, I also did each element of the body separately, the purpose wasn’t animation so I model it in basic pose, than apply a biped for give it the good position, than create a copy of the model in the good position for give it some more work, here is a wire view of the model and the shader with the different map I used, for the hair I used hair and fur from max and render it separately with the body on matte shadow than put it together on Photoshop.
