Making of Punishment of Psycho Pianist by Chems Eddine Drouich, Algeria


Puppet: Very basic and quick modeling, I started from box and cylinder, I subdivided it as much as possible and I export it to zbrush for shaping it with move/st brush/smooth tool, well I can do that with softsel/relax in max, but it is very fast with zbrush.



The Lamp: I started from cylinder, even the priests; I chamfer/extrude the edges to have a nice detail and I used the face of pianist.




Rope: This was very easy, I create a long cylinder, I modeled it a little bit with extruding/chamfering/moving the edge loops and I applied the twist modifier; to pose it around the neck and for making a good node, I draw a line that it'll be a guideline, I apply Path deform (WSM) to my cylinder (the rope) and I picked my guideline. Of course, I played a little a bit with parameter of that last modifier, without forgetting to click in “move to path”.



About the other stuff like table and other thing, nothing special, all were modeling from box as I explained previously.
