Making of Punishment of Psycho Pianist by Chems Eddine Drouich, Algeria

I used this setting for my old pc, since the other one was damage in the last moment, hehe it was real punishment for me, it takes me a long time to render, especially when I remember that I submit it in just few minutes before deadline; but anyway I’m very happy now, let me show you the last rendering.

As you can see, I played with photoshop. For the sentences of “what we are waiting for to”, after reading the sad statistic, I manage to be looking like we are looking it across our tears, some kind of silent voice. I guess I success, because I heard many people when they start reading the statistic, they read normally, but when they arrived to that sentences they stopped for two second or three and they read it very slowly and quietly with special emotion, in the end they become sad, well to tell truth, I felt very very very happy and proud inside me when I see them sad, lol …sorry and don’t worry I’m not a devil.

Description:

The Room: In heart of luxury to show us the richness, with 3 harmony of color, black, white (colors of piano) and decorated with gold.

The Lamp: Sculpted with four priests holding the light. To show us that the pianist was respectful with his religion...maybe if he stays respectful, he would not catch the HIV

The Leaves: It is crazy thing, but when we know our date of death, how we look to the other people who died normally by age? So to have a feeling like these people, he scattered the leaves in his room to feel the autumn of his life.( lol don't forget he's psycho )

The Puppets: Was left by the woman since the pianist will be alone, it looks at pianist with special smile, in my scene, it represent the aids itself, if you notice well, one hand is hidden and other one is on the earth, that means the virus is hiding in all over the world. I want to create simple dolls in the first but I did not find a good one like the puppets of the saw, it reflects my idea more than I can imagine.

The Piano: This is in the bottom, there is knives between the keys, to show us the pain when he play the piano, "I inspired from the movie of pirate of Caribbean 2, we saw how pain that the davy Jones have in each triggered key when he played the piano". There is also a red key (red the color of the virus) I saw it from some artist image: d. I let you guess what does it means.

The Bed: There's sculpt of man with special pose, looking to the top holding all that luxury in his hands... what pride !

The Rope and Mirror: It's very clear both pianist and piano is attached for committing the suicide, the mirror was add to show us the piano and out door(balcony),
“With the rope I'll go up from the light and hope
And with the pulley my piano will fall down from balcony »
So the fallen of piano from the balcony will cause death to the pianist.

The Clock wall: To show the time is very important in this scene and if you notice well to the clock. There is just one tall needle! It is of minutes! Where is the needle of hours? ... well I think he don't really need the needle of hours since there remain only some minutes for his death....( I hope you didn’t forget that he's crazy ).

The pose: I thought of many poses of sadness and hopeless, but I find them all relaxed, I chose this hard pose “coz it's hard to pose like that" to show how deep pain he's in... Facing to his P.U.N.I.S.H.M.E.N.T”

Finally, I think I finished this making of, I hope that I forgot nothing and I hope you like my scene, because some people didn’t like it(most of them are girls), coz they find it very demoralized and sad especially when my scene looks clean at first sight. However, what can I say to them…this is my goal from the beginning.
