Key Purpose of the Job:
Matchmovers/Trackers create camera motion files matching the original background plate photography for use in 3d applications using commercial and proprietary software. In addition, bodytracking involves using digi-double rigs to reproduce actors' motion. In essence, Matchmovers prepare the 3d scene for other artists down the pipeline.

2d tracking and camera calibration to obtain an animated camera for use in various 2d and 3d package
Work with line up geometry, character and object rigs and associated data in order to ensure a good match with the scene
Needs To Know
A good basic knowledge of Maya is required
Knowledge of either PFtrack or 3d Equaliser is desirable. Familiarity with both would be very useful
