Practice in traditional and non-traditional media, live action, directing for green screen, visual effects, compositing, motion graphics, experimental and digital media is necessary. In-depth practical and theoretical knowledge of contemporary live action production, animation and visual effects concepts, history and processes required. Industry experience supervising and directing visual effects for features with character animation, generative or procedural animation and live action integration absolutely essential.
Experience with emerging interactive and mobile media forms as well as stereoscopic media, performance/installation, visual music and digital world building desired. Publication of exhibited and distributed production work is essential and/or publication in the form of books, articles, or papers in the field of visual effects is desirable.
