A trailer has been released for the upcoming comic book reboot "Dredd," starring Karl Urban, Olivia Thirlby, and Lena Headey. Despite rumors of in-house fighting between the film's director Pete Travis (Vantage Point) and the film's writer/producer Alex Garland (28 Days Later), the action-packed preview doesn't look too bad and it should erase any memory you might have of Sylvester Stallone's universally panned version. In this futuristic action film, Urban plays Judge Dredd, an elite armored officer with the power of judge, jury and executioner. With the help from his telepathic rookie partner (Thirlby), Dredd is assigned to hunt down a vicious gang leader ( Headey) who has been terrorizing 'Mega City One.' Lionsgate will be releasing the 3D film on Sept. 21st.
