The film is directed by Oscar-winning animator Chris Wedge (his first directing effort since 2005s 'Robots'), and it features a star-studded voice cast that includes Amanda Seyfried, Josh Hutcherson, Beyonce Knowles, and Colin Farrell. Set to open in theaters next year on May 24th 2013, the film follows a teenage girl as she's magically transported to a dreamlike forest filled with "talking slugs and tiny little soldiers." Soon, she realizes that her only way back home is by helping her new-found friends fight a war between good and evil.
